October 15 and 16 was a glorious weekend for Pumpkinfest at Fonthill Park in Doylestown. With the Moravian Tile Works as a backdrop, we had nonstop sunshine, fall leaves scurrying around our feet, expert pumpkin carving, games, a wide variety of live music, delicious foods and ice cream, giant inflatable rides, adorable animals in the petting zoo, colorful jugglers, pony and hayrides, hot cider, candy apples, Radio Disney AM 640 entertainment, Cars 2 photo-ops, a DUI simulator, and many information booths.
We hope you, and the other 20,000 or so attendees, had a great time as you helped to kick off "Red Ribbon Week," a national anti-alcohol and other drug abuse campaign that promotes community awareness, involvement and support for healthy choices.
All proceeds directly benefit The Council's Prevention Programs provided throughout the southeast Pennsylvania region. And we thank Bottom Dollar Food for being the event's presenting sponsor.
