Individuals with an FASD often end up in various systems of care, including child welfare, foster care, early intervention, mental health treatment, substance abuse treatment, medical care, supportive housing programs, the criminal justice system, and other social services. In the coming months, this section will explore the challenges and faced by individuals with an FASD in each of these systems and provide suggestions to increase the likelihood of success.
