MOMS helps the pregnant and recently pregnant (within one year) substance user stop using and find recovery. MOMS is an outreach program focusing on individual personal contact, education, intervention and support over a 3 year period.
MOMS’ #1 goal is a healthy mother and child. We help women overcome obstacles that prevent them from seeking help; obstacles like fear, shame and guilt. MOMS offers free, confidential and caring assistance. We work to refer and connect women to community resources offering assessments, treatment, support and/or education in areas such as:
We accompany women to needed appointments and offer support through phone contact and one-on-one visits in the home or a “safe place” in the community. We meet with women, their community and family networks, as desired. We let women know they are not alone.
MOMS has expertise in helping women access useful options and supports as they move forward in new and healthier directions for themselves and their children.
