Recovery Walks! & Baseball

September is National Recovery from Drug and Alcohol Addiction Month

PRO-ACT Recovery Walks! Is the Philadelphia area’s annual National Recovery Month event. The Walk is part of a nationwide movement that celebrates individuals who have sustained long-term recovery and honors people and organizations who make recovery possible. An added benefit of the celebration is that it provides hope to individuals and families who have been affected by the disease of addiction.

This year Recovery Walks! begins early morning on Saturday, September 22, 2012.

Recovery Works! Baseball Evening is another one of PRO-ACT’s National Recovery Month Activities. Five hundred supporters of recovery sit together in the stands at Citizens Bank Park and watch the Phillies play ball. This year, the baseball game is on Thursday evening, September 6, 2012. We will be selling tickets in the near future to these sober sections.
