SBIRT is partnering with A Woman’s Place, the only domestic violence agency in Bucks County, to address the often co-occurring issues of substance abuse and domestic violence. This initiative will involve cross-training of Council and AWP staff, as well as materials-development, to inform the community about these two important issues. The outcome will be a more coordinated response and improved service coordination for individuals and families needing to access both substance abuse and domestic violence services.
