SUMMARY:Recovery Yoga
DESCRIPTION:Recovery from substance use\, mental health\, and trauma of any kind requires healing for the mind\, body\, and spirit. In this class we focus on creating a safe space for sharing one’s experiences by cultivating a recovery community with one another. Linking breath and movement while allowing thoughts and emotions to rise and watching as they dissipate is an incredibly powerful way to open up the recovery process for oneself. The yoga practice is beginners-level\, yogis of any level are welcome! Room is heated to a comfortable 75 degrees.

DESCRIPTION:Join The Council and PRO-ACT for the Tree of Hope\, where we celebrate those in recovery\, remember those lost to the disease of addiction\, and affirm those who serve as Rays of Hope to help others. The community is invited to decorate the Tree of Hope with personalized ornaments: To offer hope to those seeking help or recognize those who help make recovery possible; to commemorate those who have lost their lives due to this disease; and to celebrate a life regained through recovery.  \n\n\n\nOur event is outdoors so please dress for the weather. The event opens at 6:00 pm and our program will begin at 7:00 pm.
