Training Fee

$1,000 per person

This training prepares individuals to assist families in the process of intervention for loved ones with a substance use disorder. Participants will be trained in the model adhered to by the National Council on Alcoholism & Drug Dependence’s (NCADD) National Intervention Network (NIN). Extensive experiential learning includes participation in a full-scale mock intervention. 

Featured Trainer: Heidi Gordon, MS, CADC

Ms. Gordon is the Director of Intervention Services at The Council of Southeast Pennsylvania, Inc. From 2006-2011, she was the Project Manager for the Recovery Community Support Program Grant through CSAT for the Council. She is also an adjunct professor at Chestnut Hill College in Philadelphia. Heidi received her Master’s Degree in Organizational Development and Leadership from St. Joseph’s University and Bachelor of Arts from DeSales University.  Heidi’s 18 years of experience includes clinical supervision, program and project management for co-occuring and gender specific populations, quality assurance, training and leadership and organizational development.
