The Council of Southeast Pennsylvania offers the RISE Program in Central and Upper Bucks County to create a haven of hope for youth and their families through prevention, education, and therapeutic supports early in development. We believe every young person has the potential for a bright and promising future. Our program utilizes an evidence-based modality of treatment, the Matrix Model for adolscents and young adults. This model is rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and is structured to acknowledge milestones of progress achieved in treatment. This program is designed for youth and young adults (12—25 y.o.) whom have been identified with substance use and in some cases, mental health concerns. The core concept of this program is to create a safe space where these challenges are addressed, with an emphasis on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy(CBT) which focuses on challenging and changing unhelpful cognitive distortions and behaviors, improving emotional regulations and the development of personal coping strategies that target solving current problems and on family engagement.
