The Montgomery County Recovery Community Center (MCRCC) is a peer-operated center in Norristown, PA that offers recovery support services, workshops and trainings for the recovery community. The MCRCC is a project of PRO-ACT, Pennsylvania Recovery Organization - Achieving Community Together, which is hosted by The Council of Southeast Pennsylvania, Inc. Funding for the center is through the Montgomery County Offices of Drug and Alcohol and Managed Care Solutions. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic and to continue to support our community, recovery support groups are currently being offered at the MCRCC and on Zoom. 1:1 services are now being offered face-to-face in the community or at the center, while enforcing and following strict CDC guidelines. Telehealth also continues to be an option for those that prefer that form of support services.
Do you know someone in need of 1:1 peer support in their recovery? We are currently accepting referrals for Certified Recovery Specialist Services.
