                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                     Saturday, September 17, 2016 - PRO-ACT Recovery Walks! 2016

Planning for our 15th Annual Recovery Walk in downtown Philadelphia is underway. In each of the past few years, you have helped us to build the Walk--last year over 25,000 supporters celebrated RECOVERY at Penn's Landing. Let's top that this year! We know we can do it with your help!  Visit for all of the details!

25,000 Walk to Celebrate Recovery!

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who helped to make PRO-ACT Recovery Walks! 2015 a great success on September 19, including 400+ volunteers, sponsors, VIPs, donors, supporters, individuals, families, teams, staff members, entertainers and recovery professionals.

The Honor Guard
The Honor Guard represented over 4,000 years of Recovery! Yes, Recovery is not only possible, it's happening now, today, in communities all over the country.  Honor Guard members, every one of whom has 10+ years of continuous recovery, led the Walk and then stepped back to cheer and support everyone else along the historic route. Thank you for providing hope.

The Council/PRO-ACT received Philadelphia's Transformation Champion Award
Dr. Evans, Commissioner of Department of Behavioral Health and Intellectual disAbility Services (DBHIDS), awarded The Council with the Transformation Champion Award for 10 years of service to the residents of Philadelphia.  We were honored to be acknowledged.

Teams and Their Captains
We're extremely grateful to the teams and their Captains who have spent weeks raising donations so that PThe Council/PRO-ACT can continue to provide recovery support services and advocacy efforts for the rights of the recovery community and their families.
