Grant Awards Allow for Program Expansion
The Council was awarded several grants that allow us to have a significant impact on mission-critical initiatives. We were delighted to have been selected for two of the PA Department of Drug and Alcohol Programs Regional Recovery Hubs grants. Being part of this process and witnessing the development of this innovative and responsive project is inspiring, and we were honored that PRO-ACT has become a key partner in this transformative work.
We also were selected for two new projects. Project Bucks, funded by the Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency, will support the behavioral health needs of students and their successful participation in school academics and social activities through the implementation of the COPE program. A grant from SAMHSA’s Building Communities of Recovery project expands our Recovery Support Services. We look forward to broadening the partnerships that allow Certified Recovery Specialists to work more closely with physical healthcare providers, the reentry system, and more.
