Tree of Hope 2024
Our community is invited to participate in this year’s Tree of Hope dedication ceremony, held once again outside at the Southern Bucks Recovery Community Center (SBRCC) Courtyard, 1286 Veterans Highway, Ste. D6, Bristol on Wednesday, December 11, 2024 at 6:00 pm. (Please dress for the weather!) We will celebrate those in recovery, remember those lost to the disease of addiction, and affirm those who serve as Rays of Hope to help others.
For three decades, the community has been invited to decorate the Tree of Hope with personalized ornaments:
- To commemorate those who have lost their lived to this disease
- To celebrate a life regained through recovery
- To offer hope to those seeking help or recognize those who help make recovery possible
At the Tree of Hope, we invite members of the community to decorate a magnificent tree with personalized ornaments that bear the names or initials of those who have been impacted by substance use disorder. There will be Trees at our Centers throughout our service area. Guests can visit these centers after December 11th to place your ornaments.
We are delighted to welcome speakers who will share their stories, community leaders who work to help build a community of recovery, our partners in service including local Recovery Houses, PRO-ACT volunteers, participants and staff, and more. Thank you to Mercy Truck who will be onsite and providing refreshments.
We’re so fortunate to work in a community where there is a shared understanding of the impact of substance use disorder, a belief that recovery is possible, and a willingness to invest in the strategies that can help people achieve their recovery goals. You can play a special part in this event by making your gift to The Council and dedicating an ornament by visiting https://bit.ly/TreeofHope24. Your gift will ensure Recovery Support Services are available in our community!
