PSEI Accepting Applications

The Peer Support Expansion Initiative program consists of students taking the Certified Peer Specialist (CPS) or Certified Recovery Specialist (CRS) Core Training, followed by Enhanced Trainings and a supervised Field Placement. The program prepares individuals to obtain the CPS or CRS credential and provides support for job readiness. We are offering this training bi-annually to any individual interested in working in Chester County. This program is provided thanks to support from Chester County Office of Drug and Alcohol Services. Follow up through our application for information on trainings, the impact of peer support, upcoming Recovery events, and available job postings.

“It is with great pleasure that I provide support to our CPS and CRS students as they move through their training and obtain their official certifications. It is incredibly meaningful to me to watch these individuals learn and grow as they move into their roles providing support and bringing hope to the residents of Chester County and beyond.” – Daniel Rowan, PSEI Program Coordinator
