PRTC 2024-2025 Highlights
Dear Community Partners, Supporters, and Friends,
We are thrilled to share highlights from the Philadelphia Recovery Training Center (PRTC) for the program year July 2024 through June 2025 — and we couldn’t have done it without you!
Thanks to your unwavering support and active participation, this year we:
- Delivered 15 new trainings to meet emerging community needs
- Provided 1,877 educational hours to 277 unique participants—all at no cost to our participants
- Awarded 570 training certificates to participants
- Distributed 528 doses of naloxone through trainings, community events, and walk-ins
- Partnered across the region in professional development meetings, community coalitions, and resource networks
Some of our most impactful offerings included:
WRAP Seminar I, Forensic Peer Support, Harm Reduction Training, Adult Mental Health First Aid, Documentation for Peer Support Professionals, and many more.
We extend our sincere gratitude to DBHIDS for funding and supporting all of our trainings. Their partnership has been instrumental in expanding access, removing barriers, and building recovery-informed communities across Philadelphia.
We are especially proud of the collaborative spirit that made these efforts possible—from our presenters and facilitators to our community advocates and every individual who joined a session, shared their story, or supported someone else’s growth.
If you or your organization is interested in training opportunities, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We’d love to collaborate and support your goals.
Thank you for being a vital part of the PRTC community. We look forward to building on this momentum together in the year ahead!
With deep gratitude,
The PRTC Team
