Challenging Stigma: Helping Friends and Families Understand Addiction

Friends, family and community members are invited to this interactive conversation to address:

• why it is that some people become addicted, while others do not
• how to respond when we are concerned about someone’s substance use
• how we can challenge stigma and remove obstacles to seeking treatment and support
• how we find and support recovery as individuals, as families, and as a community
• We’ll be joined by a family member who will share their lived experience.
