Created in 1975, as the Bucks County Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependence, The Council of Southeast PA, Inc. has provided almost fifty years of innovative programming that has grown to include prevention, training, intervention and outpatient treatment and recovery support services across Greater Philadelphia.
Those services have touched tens of thousands of lives, created innovative program models that have changed the way we understand and celebrate recovery, and engaged community partners in implementing collaborative programs that break down stigma and create new opportunities to foster a culture of recovery.
Currently, our 90+ staff members work in eight counties, seven hospitals, eleven school districts and 3 independent schools, and that number continues to grow.
